You will receive a donation receipt by email immediately following your gift, and a formal donor acknowledgment letter with full tax documentation will follow. Every dollar donated to RISE goes directly toward building exceptional theater and exceptional education for young people in San Diego. 

On the production side, your gift helps fund the things that bring a show to life — performance venue rental, script licensing, costumes, set materials, props, sound equipment, and the care it takes to produce work at the quality level RISE is committed to.

On the operations side, your gift supports the infrastructure that makes RISE sustainable — insurance to protect our students and volunteers, background checks for all adults who work with our kids, accounting and compliance to ensure we are stewarding your gift responsibly, and the technology that keeps our programs running smoothly.

Yes — in-kind contributions of goods and services are a meaningful way to support RISE. We gratefully accept donations of fabric and sewing supplies, set construction materials, props, photography and videography services, printing, and more. Yes, and what a beautiful way to celebrate someone you love. To make a gift in honor or in memory of someone, please email us at info@riseyouththeater.org (include your name and the name of the person you are honoring or remembering). If you would like us to notify someone of your tribute gift, please include their name and contact information as well and we will reach out with a personal note. Tribute gifts are acknowledged with the same care and gratitude as all Rise donations.
